Nebula - Side Table

A bespoke Side Table made from a slab of burr elm with a walnut base inspired by Mid Century Modern design.

The spectacular elm slab is full of wild grain and tones that are reminiscent of a nebula. The slab has been refined into a circle with sections of natural edge breaking through.

A more formal table base contains and elevates the table top. The base features curved legs arranged in a cross formation. Wedged and pegged tenons provide strong and decorative joints in the table legs. The precise woodwork of the frame contrasts with the organic top. The dark tones of the walnut complimenting the rich reds of the burr elm - giving the piece a warm organic feel.
